Food & Nutrition

Grade: 9 – 12                                                                                                        Exam: final exam

The course studies food and kitchen safety, food borne illnesses and nutrients and my plate through classroom instruction and mini projects.  Students will also investigate food allergies such as peanut, gluten, dairy and eggs using current events and mini projects.  Students will plan recipes and grocery lists, prep and serve food.
