Our elementary students made Valentine’s cards for State Senator Michelle Hinchey’s office to share with seniors throughout the Capital Region. A representative of the senator visited school this week to thank the children for their cards and present them with coloring books as a gift for their kind gesture. Thank you Bulldogs!
BKW senior and varsity basketball team member Ryan Murphy proudly wore his grandfather Bob Stevens’ letterman sweater to his Senior Night on Feb. 8. The athletic tradition stems from Bob, a 1961 graduate, who participated in basketball, cross country, baseball, soccer and track, and continued with Ryan’s mother Megan, a 1995 BKW graduate. Congratulations to BKW senior Hunter Parker and Middleburgh eighth graders Liam English and Gabe English on becoming Section 2, Class D wrestling champions. The BKW-Middleburgh wrestlers competed Saturday, Feb. 5, in Cambridge in the varsity sectionals.
