Coming in first place out of five Capital Region high schools and 168 students is no small feat! Congratulations to BKW high school students Andre Hooks and Christopher Davis for excelling and winning the JA Titan CEO Challenge. According to the Junior Achievement of Northeastern New York’s website, the JA Titan is a simulation-based program in which high school students compete as business CEOs in the phone manufacturing industry, experiencing firsthand how an organization evaluates alternatives, makes decisions, analyzes the outcomes of those decisions, and then strategizes what to do next.

The students were advised by their business teacher Ms. Del-Sette and their CEO Mentor and President of Fenimore Asset Management Christian Snyder. The students will take their business strategies to the national championship later this month.
