Recently, BKW Elementary students learned about the power of magnets during their class activity. Students utilized tools and materials from their Pre-Kindergarten Teacher Ms. Prescott to observe how magnets work on an object. The lesson is part of the New York State Prekindergarten learning standard that uses materials to design and build a device that causes an object to move faster with a push or a pull.
As you can see, the lesson brought out some smiles and new skill sets for our youngest learners!
