History came to life at BKW recently, when Clifford Oliver recreated for middle school-level students the persona of Solomon Northup, a free, African-American New Yorker kidnapped into slavery before the Civil War. Middle school students completed their first Builder’s Club project at the BKW Secondary School. The young men decided on this project and saw it to completion. The December 9 Board of Education meeting has been postponed until Monday, Jan. 6, 2020. This regular meeting of the Board will be held in the Secondary School cafeteria at 7 p.m.
