May 19: Budget vote, exit survey, and important dates to know

We would like to remind our community that the 2025-26 school year budget vote is scheduled for tomorrow, May 20, from 7AM to 9PM in the BKW Elementary cafeteria. Today, we are sharing the online version of the budget newsletter with you as you prepare to vote. You can access the online newsletter here.

We encourage you to take a moment to visit the Budget & Taxes page to access information related to the 2025-26 budget. On that page, voters can access budget-focused articles that provide insight into this year’s budget preparation. The articles address everything from district revenue to programming, student highlights, and classroom recognition.

Exit Survey

For this year’s budget vote, the district is providing a Budget Survey to collect feedback from district voters to understand how we can best serve our school community. If you are short on time after voting, a QR code will be provided to complete the simple-to-use survey at your earliest convenience. If you prefer to utilize a paper copy survey, it will also be available.

Important Dates

  • As a reminder, the district will be closed on Tuesday, May 20 for a Superintendent Conference Day. District staff and faculty will participate in various workshops and activities to continue their professional development and commitment to our school community. The campus will be open for the 2025-26 budget vote.
  • In addition, the district will be closed on Friday, May 23 (Memorial Day Observed) and Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day).

We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, May 20, from 7AM to 9PM.
