Goodbye to Mr. Whalen, 4th grade teacher

BKW Elementary School said goodbye and good luck to Mr. Whalen, our fourth grade teacher whose last day in the district was Dec. 20 before the holiday break. He is being replaced by Erin McNamara-McCullough who greeted her new class.

Learning from Solomon Northrup, recreated

History came to life at BKW recently, when Clifford Oliver recreated for middle school-level students the persona of Solomon Northup, a free, African-American New Yorker kidnapped into slavery before the Civil War. Builder’s Club makes toy Jeeps for Toys For Tots Donation

Middle school students completed their first Builder’s Club project at the BKW Secondary School.
