This month, the BKW FFA chapter and Agricultural Science program received a $2,500 grant on behalf of Tractor Supply Company and the National FFA Foundation. The grant will be used towards the implementation of a floral design curriculum at the high school, purchasing a floral cooler.
Nationally, $28,307 in grants were handed out, and more than three and a half times that amount was requested from various FFA chapters. With this grant win, the district has now received over $22,000 in grants over the past few months for its FFA chapter and Agricultural Science program, providing more opportunities for our students in and out of the classroom.
