Where are they now? BKW alumni updates

We are proud of our Bulldogs!

Class of 1981 alumna  Clara Putzig Mizenko shared this news in Sept. 2021:
“I’m married to Glen and have three kids – Kim (1990), Nick (1996) and Rachel (1996). I live in Evergreen, Colorado (CO), up in the mountains. Since college in CO, I’ve lived in Texas (three times), Louisiana (two times), California, England and Colorado. I worked as an environmental engineer and a math teacher, and I’m now retired. I met my husband at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO. All of our children graduated from Colorado School of Mines.”

Coach Galvin shared this great news in May, 2021:
“Congratulations to BKW graduate Kristen Norray on her record-breaking accomplishments as a member of the Roger Williams Track and Field team!”

BKW alumnus Joshua VonHaugg sent this update in early 2021:
“I graduated from BKW in 2013. I then went on to Hilbert College in Hamburg, NY, and obtained my Bachelor of Science degree (summa cum laude) in Forensic Science/Crime Scene Investigation in 2017. While in college, I was involved in the Peer Leader program (mentoring first year college students), a forensic science tutor and Advertiser of the Criminal Justice/Forensic Science Association. In the fall of 2017 I was hired as a Forensic Scientist with the Minneapolis Police Department in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where I still work. This was a dream of mine since I was in high school at BKW. The Criminal Justice program at Schoharie BOCES and Forensic Science class I took at BKW were what helped me realize this was the career I wanted.”
