Programming at BKW goes far beyond the classroom. It includes music, art, athletics, Career & Technical Education, and a diverse range of clubs and activities—all made possible by the creativity and commitment of our staff. These experiences deepen learning, build connections, and shape a positive district culture from the moment a student first walks through our doors.
Our talented teachers and support staff design experiences that move learning forward and open doors beyond the classroom. Whether it’s an outdoor program, a service project, or a club that sparks curiosity, teachers are the driving force behind meaningful opportunities that help students discover their strengths and passions.
This year, we proudly celebrate milestones that reflect the spirit and dedication of our school community. Our girl’s varsity softball team won the Class C championship last June and our boys’ varsity basketball team brought home the district’s first NYS Class C state championship in March—both triumphs fueled by teamwork and school spirit. Numerous other students matched this success in individual levels of competition. Participation in music, art, and drama continues to grow, thanks to teachers who foster creativity and confidence. And with expanding programs in eSports, agriculture, and technology, our staff continues to create dynamic, future-focused learning environments that rival those found on college campuses.
