We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Christopher Odom as the district’s Transportation Supervisor. Mr. Odom brings over 10 years of experience in school transportation to his role with the district. He will be responsible for scheduling and department and state oversight of the district’s transportation fleet.
Prior to joining BKW, Mr. Odom was a school bus driver with Guilderland Central School District since 2023. Additionally, he served as the Terminal Manager for Brown Transportation from 2022 to 2023. Mr. Odom is a 17-year veteran of the United States Air Force, where he was responsible for operational oversight, maintenance, and transportation logistical roles.
Mr. Odom has an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Saunders School of Business at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Ashford University and an Associate of Applied Science in Aviation Maintenance Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
“We are excited to have Mr. Odom join our team at BKW,” said Superintendent of Schools Mrs. Kane. “He brings a wealth of experience to this role, and we are fortunate to have his knowledge and professionalism serve our school community.”
