Do you have a hidden talent? The BKW Theatre Troupe wants you!
Whether you act, sing, dance, juggle, tell jokes, play an instrument or show off martial arts and gymnastics, students in grades K-12 are invited to take the stage. Family members and alumni are able to audition, but they must include a current BKW student in their act.
Auditions will take place Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 2:30-5 p.m. in the secondary school auditorium. The audition committee will evaluate all acts based on appropriateness, variety, novelty and preparedness.
Some acts will be chosen for the show, some acts will be asked to reapply for the next talent show. Feedback will be given to help students grow and develop. Auditions should be three minutes long or less.
Those interested in signing up for auditions should email Dana Higgins to obtain the proper registration information.
Before auditioning, please be sure to:
- Hand in your audition information sheet to Dana Higgins
- Sign up for an audition time slot
- Email your MP3 background track (if singing) to Dana Higgins by Monday, Oct. 5
- Have your song memorized (if singing)
- Have outfits ready
- Get materials ready (instruments, props, etc.)
Please arrive at your audition time 10 minutes early and wait in the music room until your name is called.
Talent show finalists will perform on Friday, Oct. 16. Community members are welcome to attend.
