MySchoolBucks Online Payment System

The BKW Food Service Department is excited to provide parents a convenient, easy and secure online pre-payment service to deposit money into your child’s school meal account at any time. This service also provides parents the ability to view your child’s account balance through a website called MySchoolBucks.com. By having money in each child’s account prior to entering the cafeteria, we find the lunch lines move along much faster so your child has more time to eat and be with friends.

Free and Reduced Price Lunch Program

BKW students are urged to take advantage of free and reduced-price ($0.25) meals at school. This confidential program is available to students from households that meet federal income guidelines. Even if you are not sure that you qualify, you can still apply. If you have questions or would like assistance with an application please contact Food Services Director Lateef Clark, SNS, at (518) 872-5131.

Prepaid Meal Plans

Cash or checks can be sent with your student in a sealed envelope marked “Meal Program.” The student’s name should also be included, and if for an elementary student, please also include the teacher’s name on the envelope.

Online payments can be made through MySchoolBucks.com

Any number of prepaid meals may be purchased at one time.

Food Intolerance & Allergies

If your student has a food allergy or intolerance, please let us know right away. We will need a doctor’s note. Call the school nurse at (518) 872-2030 for a “Diet Prescription” form.

Special Activities

Parents, guardians and family members are invited to eat breakfast or lunch with students. The adult lunch price is $3.52, plus tax totaling $3.80. Breakfast foods are charged a la carte.

Birthday Baskets (Pre-K through Grade 5)

The BKW elementary cafeteria offers Birthday Baskets that can be delivered to your student’s classroom. It’s affordable and convenient for you and fun and healthy choices for the student’s special day. Order forms will be sent home the month of your student’s birthday.
