Dear Parents/Guardians:
Students will be taking the New York State Regents exams during the month of June. I have included the scheduled dates for these exams for your planning purposes. The dates will also be listed on the school’s website. All Regents examinations will begin at 8:15AM. Students may use school transportation during the elementary bus runs to come to school in the morning. Included on the schedule is the mid-day bus schedule for students to return home. There will be no afternoon Regents examinations.
Please note that any student who was fully remote this year will not be required to come to the building to sit the Regents examinations. However, they will need to come in and sit the examinations if they are to receive a Regents’ grade.
New York State and the Berne-Knox-Westerlo School District consider these tests very important. We respectfully ask that each student prepare for these tests by taking full advantage of the review opportunities as they are provided. In addition, students should be well rested and have had a good breakfast on the morning of the exam.
