Dear BKW Elementary Families,
As this year comes to a close, all of us at BKW would like to thank you for your support and cooperation as we worked through the COVID-19 pandemic. All of these efforts ensured our students continued to grow both in-person and virtually this year. We are very proud of our students and their resiliency and adaptability as they navigated new safety protocols and educational practices.
Please review the following dates and information regarding the closing out of the school year:
- The last day of school for our pre-K students is Friday, June 18.
- The last day for students in grades K-6 is Thursday, June 24.
Dismissal will occur at 1:30 p.m. Monday-Wednesday (6/21-6/23) and 12:00 p.m. on Thursday (6/24). - Chromebooks and chargers need to be returned to the main office by Thursday, June 24, at 12:00 p.m.
- Elementary report cards will be printed and sent home on Wednesday, June 23, along with Summer Bingo Boards. As a reminder, the Bingo Boards are completely optional and designed by grade-level teams as a fun and engaging way to prevent the regression of skills during the summer months.
- There will be a pizza party this fall for all of the students who turn in their Bingo Boards by Friday, September 17, to their new classroom teacher.
- We are still accepting applications for our Ready, Set, Go programs and summer enrichment camps, through next Wednesday, June 16.
- Bulldog Club registration information will go out to families with report cards.
- Student placement letters will go home the first week of August.
