Curbside pick-up, report cards, last day of school

Dear Elementary Parents and Guardians,

I would like to share some important information with you as we finish this unprecedented school year.

Curbside drop-off and pick-up days for elementary students will be June 8, 9, and 10.  Elementary teachers will be at school during the days and times listed below to assist with the collection of items; however, parents are welcome to stop by on any of these days between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Please remember to return all blue/burgundy bookbags, library books, and Kindergarten readers.

Curbside Pick-Up Schedule:
Monday, 6/8:
Grade 2:  9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Grade 1: 12:30 p.m.  – 2:30 p.m.

Tuesday, 6/9:
Pre-K: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Grade 3: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Grade 2: 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Wednesday,  6/10:

Grade 5: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Elementary report cards will be printed and mailed on Wednesday, June 24, along with Summer Bingo Boards. As a reminder, the Bingo Boards were designed by grade level teams as a fun and engaging way to prevent the regression of academic skills during the summer months, and are not required.

Parents have also inquired about a new date for Kindergarten Screenings. When we are given permission to reconvene with students, the new dates will be posted on the BKW website, and parents will be contacted to schedule a day and time for their child.

The last day of school for all students is Wednesday, June 17, 2020.
Thank you all for your efforts and for collaborating with our teachers to ensure that our students continued to learn and grow during this unusual time in their lives.

In partnership,
Mrs. Landry
