Come join the fun with your classmates and friends as you make a variety of Valentine's Day related crafts.

This program is free of charge, and is open to all BKW students PreK - 6th grade. Parents are welcome to attend this event and lend a hand with the crafts.

All students will need to be picked up at 4 PM from this event.

The Knox Winterfest is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 4th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. -- complete with bonfire, hot dogs, hot chocolate and hopefully even snow!

We will also feature our famous delicious chili contest!

The 2011-2012 school year will mark the 10th year for the Price Chopper Tools for Schools program. In order for the program to more accurately and fairly represent the efforts of active schools, Price Chopper is requiring any AdvantEdge card enrolled prior to August of 2010, to re-enroll in order to continue to earn credit for BKW in the 2011-12 school year.

AdvantEdge card holders may enroll and re-enroll their cards to support  BKW for 2011-2012 school year starting today. Cards registered after Aug. 1, 2010, do not need to re-enroll at this time. If you have any doubts as to when you enrolled, check at www2.pricechopper.com/toolsforschools.

We encourage you re-enroll your cards at www2.pricechopper.com/toolsforschools. The process is simple and only takes a few minutes to complete.

The PTA is going electronic

REMINDER: In an effort to save on printing and mailing as well as promote "green" practices at school, the PTA will no longer be mailing print materials home to parents. Instead, the vast majority of PTA materials will be sent via e-mail.  The only exceptions are households without access to a computer. Please take the time to review the information about this change, fill out the appropriate form and return it to the school.

Thank you for your support with this effort.
