District officials have made the decision not to start school tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 8, because of the flooding caused by today’s rain. Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten orientation that was schedule for tomorrow has been moved to Friday, Sept. 9.

The district has been in touch with representatives from local highway departments, who have informed school officials that a number of roads in the district have been impacted by flooding and will not be safe for bus travel tomorrow.

Currently, the district plans to start school on Friday, Sept. 9. District officials will continue to work with the highway departments to monitor the roads conditions.
