It’s
no trick. BKW elementary students are in for a special treat this week.
BKW elementary physical education teacher Rich Holoday turned the school’s gym into a haunted playground.
To enter the haunted gym, students must go through a “scary” passageway and crawl through a tunnel to emerge in the room decorated with ghosts, skeletons and pumpkins.
“It’s been so much fun,” Holoday said. “I tell the kids a story that the gym is haunted by an old gym teacher.”
After hearing the spooky tale, students are divided up and rotate around the room to play games such as “Ghostbusters,” “eye ball bowling” and “pumpkin toss,” while dancing along to Halloween-themed music.
Here are some pictures of Mr. Tidd’s second-grade class enjoying the haunt.
