The boys team dominated the competition at the Class CC Sectional Meet on Saturday, May 28, winning by 50 points, which is almost unheard of and is a testimony to the efforts of our student-athletes and their families!
The coaching staff would like to recognize all of the "unsung heroes" who performed admirably on a hot and steamy day! Some notable performances were:
Travis Fairlee: 56.8 split
in the 4x4
Blake Whitbeck: 56.7 split in the 4x4
Adam Forti: 2:09 split in the 4x8 and 4th in the steeplechase
Jacob Farnam: 3rd in the Pentathlon
Ben Becker: 2nd in the Pole Vault
Dominic Woodmansee: 2:16 split in the 4x8
Trevor Brown: Outstanding Effort in the 200m
Geoff Bentley: 3rd in the long jump, 4th in the triple jump
Kristen Bassler: 2 PR's in the heat!
TT Conklin: 14'8" in the long jump
Jean Farnam: 6th in the shot put
Liz Harvey: 7th in the shot put
Angela Cunningham: 2:39 split in the 4x8
Carly Bassler: 2:45 split in the 4x8, 1:17 in the 400m hurdles
Abby Swint: 2:28 split in the 4x8
Alex Luciano: 2:45 split in the 4x8
Morgan Viscio: 17.19 in the 100m hurdles
Katie Forti: 4'3" in the high jump
Faith Sisson: 28'4" in the triple jump
Sam Harvey: 1493 in pentathlon
Marley Furman: 15.98 in the 100m
Sabrina Squires: 6th in the 200m
Tori Villeneuve: 6:43 in the 1500m

These athletes don't always receive the attention they deserve, but the coaching staff truly appreciates their efforts!
