More than 90 budding scientists in grades three through fifth participated in the BKW PTA-sponsored Science Fair on Friday, April 1 at the BKW elementary. Not to be left out, the younger students in kindergarten through second grade had classroom projects on display for the visitors that night as well.
The contest was judged by 12 professional scientists, and the winners of the Fair were announced at the Bulldog Show on Wednesday morning. They are:

"Everyone that showed up Friday night was a winner," PTA member and award presenter Matthew Chase said. "The opposite of winning is quitting. If you lose, you learn how to win. If you quit, you are out of the game. Don't ever quit. We need you. We need new thinkers, new ideas and innovative kids."
