Donations for the drive will be accepted until Dec. 8
The BKW PEAKS Program (Path to Education through Achievement, Knowledge and Success) is sponsoring its second annual holiday clothing drive from Dec. 9 to Dec. 22 to help students and community members in need.
"Last year's clothing drive was such a big success that the students asked if they could put it together again," says Secondary School Teacher Erin Snyder.
The clothing drive will be open in Mrs. Snyder's room (Room 158) in the Secondary School every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday until 4 p.m. from Dec. 9 to Dec. 22. Students will be able to take the late bus home if they decide to come in and shop. Students are also encouraged to invite their families to come in and shop for the holidays.
Donate to the drive!
The PEAKS students are now accepting donations for the clothing drive. They urge you to clean out your closets and donate any unwanted items, such as sneakers, purses, ties, dresses, shorts, tank tops, children's toys and jackets. Please bring any appropriate items (no undergarments of any sort) to the Secondary School by Dec. 8.
You may drop off your items in Mrs. Snyder's room or in the Secondary School office.
