BKW junior Christina North has been awarded $40,000 as part of the Wells College 21st Century Leadership Award in recognition of the outstanding contributions she has made as a student and a leader.
“Through school and community activities and service, Christian has demonstrated superior integrity, trustworthiness, self-confidence and intellect. Christina possesses the characteristics of the highest form of ethical leadership,” Wells College President Lisa Marsh Ryerson said. “She has been selected by Wells college, which identifies exceptional young leaders nationally, upon the recommendation of her community members who know Christina and have experienced her positive influent.”
The award is for four years
of study at Wells College in whatever field North chooses.
