High school students whose families are financially eligible can
apply for summer jobs through the Town of Berne. "Learn
and Earn" job applications are available at town hall. Last
year, the six-week program offered students the opportunity to
work for local farmers, the town highway department and BKW
Central School District. This summer, in addition to other
opportunities, students may be chosen to work with the town
historian to restore local cemeteries. For information, contact
