The possession, use, or sale of drugs or
alcoholic beverages on school grounds is prohibited. Violation
of this rule will result in immediate disciplinary action, which
may include suspension, a possible superintendent's hearing, and if warranted, a referral to the police.
In the event a physician authorizes a student to
take medication during the school day, the medication shall be
turned over to the school nurse or a high school administrator
upon arrival to the school grounds and shall be kept in custody
of the nurse or administrator until the student is leaving the
school grounds.
The use and/or possession of tobacco or tobacco
products is prohibited. Any student who violates this rule is
subject to the provision of the Student Discipline Conduct Code. |
