Students must attend all of
their classes a minimum of 85% of the time. Note: Chronic
absences from class will reflect in the student's grade.
Steps to follow when absent
-
Have a parent or a guardian phone the school
attendance office at 872-0939 of your absence before 9 a.m. on the day of
the absence.
-
Have a parent or a guardian write an excuse
giving your name, date, days of absence, reason for absence
and his/her signature.
-
Upon returning to school, present your
excuse to the attendance office before homeroom.
-
Obtain all missed work from teachers. It is
the student's responsibility to complete all missed work.

Tardiness
If a student arrives late to school (after 8:03
a.m.) her or she should report to the main office for a
late admission pass. If a teacher or an administrator
legitimately detains you, you should request a late pass before
going on to your regularly scheduled class.

Illegal class absence
-
All absences will be checked against the
daily bulletin.
-
If a student is believed to be illegally
absent from class, a referral form will be sent to the main
office with comments by the teacher.
-
Penalties for class cutting include
detention (assigned by teacher for each cut) and further
action by an administrator for subsequent cuts.
