Students interested in a career in Architecture, Construction or Civil/Structural Electrical or Mechanical Engineering can apply to participate in the 2011 – 2012 season of ACE Mentor Program. ACE is an exciting evening program for high school students led by professionals in the design and construction industries. The online application is due by October 21, 2011. Writing workshop for college essays
The Capital District Writing Project announced new workshop for teen writers as part of our growing young writers programs. The workshop focuses on helping high school students prepare their college admissions essays. It is a three-part workshop that will be held on Nov. 5, Nov. 19, and Dec. 3. Details about the workshop and a registration form are included in the attached flyer.

Campus Visit Day at HVVC
Hudson Valley Community College will be hosting a Campus Visit Day on Columbus Day, Monday, Oct. 10, 2011. You will have the opportunity to receive general information about admissions, financial aid and athletics, as well as take a tour of the campus. A schedule of events for the day is listed below:
