Elementary School students were treated to a
day's worth of education and activities devoted to promoting
good health and smart eating habits November 13 as part of the
PTA-sponsored Health and Wellness Day.
Throughout the day, students got up and moving,
taking part in numerous activities such as:

A snack-making workshop that emphasized the
benefits of calcium for growing bones;

Basic karate moves for self-respect and
discipline
-
Guided meditations and yoga
-
Measuring fat and sugar in foods
-
Walking the track
-
An indoor obstacle course
