KFC Colonel's Scholars Program
Up to $5000 per year for tuition, fees, books, and room and
board
Applications are online at www.kfcscholars.org. Applications
will be available from December 1, 2008 through February 10,
2009
Engineering Scholarship
Available to students pursuing engineering as a career
Applications are obtained from the school guidance office, by
visiting www.capdistpe.org/awards/scholarships.htm or by

a.m. to 12:45 p.m. November 15 taking cap and gown orders. If
you would like to order your cap and gown at this time, please
pick up a packet from Mrs. Chrysler or Mrs. Landry.

Wendy's High School
Heisman ScholarshipThis award
honors both male and female high school students who excel in
academics, athletics, and student leadership. Students can only
apply online no later than 5:00 pm, central time, on October 1,
2008. Each student applicant must have their online application
reviewed and confirmed online by a school representative no
later than October 6, 2008.

Coca-Cola Scholars
Foundation
Seniors are eligible to apply for
$3million in achievement based college scholarships. The
deadline is October 31, 2008. Please access the online
application at www.coca-colascholars.org and click on Coca-Cola
Four Year Award for Seniors.
Scholarships for Academic
Excellence (if approved by NYS legislature during 2009 session)
One award for $1500 and three awards for
$500, selection criteria is based on an average of Regents exam
grades. A separate application is not required, all student
transcrips will be reviewed. Please call the Guidance Office
with questions. These scholarships are pending NYS Legislature
approval during 2009 session.
