The 76th Annual Alumni Banquet for BKW was held Oct. 2, 2010, at the Holiday Inn Express in Schoharie, N.Y.
We had our second largest crowd —178 in attendance — in the past 12 years. We honored alumnus from 1945, 1950, 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990 and 1995.
Tim Winters, from the honored class of 1960, was the guest speaker. He spoke highly of the education he received at Berne-Knox-Westerlo, which helped him to strive to be a commander in the Navy.
Harmony Rocks Band provided great music that was enjoyed by many. We had one of our largest crowd left when they played their last song of the evening.
Other people were pleased to use the large lounge outside of the banquet room to visit with old friends.
The committee received so much positive feedback that we have scheduled the 77th Annual Alumni Banquet for Oct. 1, 2011 at the Holiday Inn Express again.

BKW Alumni Golf Tournament that will be held earlier in the day on Oct.
